“Ellen is a compassionate leader of musical talent development, there she was listening intently on a Friday afternoon while my 6 year old started pounding away, each key sounding equally hard as the next. Ms Ellen took the time to instruct my daughter to stop and take a breather. Carefully, she demonstrated by forming cupping her hand to a round circle, saying “like a bubble.” Immediately, my child took to it while it would have taken me days to coach her to play with the appropriate technique. While most instructors would have tried to maintain a cold and professional relationship, Ms. Ellen is not one of them.
