Ellen Negoescu has a long and storied career as an education professional. She began her vocation in piano instruction in 1986, after receiving her Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education. During her early days in teaching, she also earned her diploma in Music piano. Further more she received her first Master's Music Instruments in piano at Chung Ang University. She also made time in her busy schedule to regularly serve as a  pianist and accompianist, which she still does.

In Korea, Ellen founded and managed the Angel Piano School in Seoul, taking the enterprise from an idea into a 100+ student academy with three additional instructors on-staff. This experience shaped Ellen's piano education method into what students enjoy today.

To pursue additional study, Ellen traveled abroad in Europe and Asia. In 2008, Ellen moved to the USA to study and was awarded a second Master's Degree in TESOL at Oklahoma City University. During this time, she also taught Pre-school and Piano at Villa Theresa School, also in Oklahoma City.

Ellen is very passionate and enthusiastic about music education and developing talent in youth. She has raised many piano students in South Korea and the USA, many of which are now themselves schoolteachers and performers. Her passion and dedication has been recognized with numerous awards. Ellen lives in Austin Texas with her husband and enjoys sharing Korean food and culture with everyone she meets.
